It is important for your dancer to attend the entire class, on time and on a regular basis, to be sure that the dancer receives the full benefit of all the information taught in the previous class.
Arriving late is a disruption to the teacher and the rest of the class.
All absences will be marked and parents will be called for excessive absences. Excessive absences, unless medically documented, could result in a change of the dancer's level if it is determined that their absences have affected their ability to keep up with or complete the level.
If a child is going to be absent, a phone call from a parent or guardian must be made to the studio, 203-287-0022, or an email message to email@example.com
If a dancer has missed too many classes for a production number, it will be up to the teacher's discretion whether the dancer will be able to participate in the production number that the teacher has created.
Attendance for all recital rehearsals is MANDATORY. A hand written note from a guardian must be submitted to Miss Joan 2 months in advance of the rehearsal if there are any conflicts.
**If a student is repeatedly absent, the teacher has the right to remove them from any section of the choreography that they have repeatedly missed.
